- Remanded in Okere Prison
- Benson Dube Omadeli, Ofe Pender Nene, other suspects at large
Justice seem to be coming the way of the bereaved family of the murdered Samuel Mayomi as five of those suspected to be behind his killing have been arraigned in court in Warri. They are Jolomi Metseagharun, Churchill Omadeli, Charles Ikpotor, Emmanuel Uwawah and Geoffrey Ereoma.
While these five have since been remanded at the Okere Prisons Warri, other suspects like Benson Dube Omadeli, Ofe Pender Nene, Darlington Irone, Endurance Anderson (alias Obisco), Richard Arubi, Jerry Uwanikone, Bemigho Ajeboruku (alias Otoroh), Oritseje Asangbajumi (alias Capone) among others are still at large.
Certainly, justice seems to be coming faster than expected in this case as the suspects have been slammed with a ten-count charge of murder, kidnapping and armed robbery. Indeed, the spirits of Samuel Mayomi and Pa Benson Okoturo are fighting vigorously for justice.
The suspects were first arraigned in the Magistrate Court, Warri and remanded at the Okere Prisons for two weeks as a result of lack of jurisdiction. They have since been arraigned at the State High Court, GRA, Warri, which still kept them in the prison.
Here are the charges before the arraigned suspects and those still at large.

While Jolomi Meatseagharun and Churchill Omadeli were both tracked from Benin to Abuja where they were smoked out of the Abuja airport toilet they hid in and promptly hand and leg cuffed straight to the Force Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja, Charles Ikpotor and Emmanuel Uwawah were arrested between Koko and Sapele. Geoffery Ereoma was picked up in Warri when he came for a job interview.
It is also important to point out that Charles Ikpotor has since abandoned the fake case he was deceived into making about the death of his wife in a boat accident. He knew his lies would be made manifest the moment the police ordered an autopsy of the remains of his wife who he lied was shot at! The boat driver, who works for Ikpotor, blew his cover. The boat has also been recovered and now in the custody of the Marine Police.
