A Matrix energy tanker containing diesel, fell into a dish along Ubeji road, which is currently under construction. The result was flames and explosion! Shops and properties worth millions of naira burnt and destroyed. Thank God no life was lost. The Tankers drivers are menace to the Community.
Meanwhile, the Olu of Warri paid a courtesy visit to the people of Ubeji community shortly after the incident. The Olu’s wife (Olori od Warri) and some notable palace Chiefs accompanied the Olu to the scene.
The Warri monarch promised the people that he would see to it that the State Government speed up the completion of the road project and also encouraged the people affected by the fire to have hope and be thankful to God for no loss of life.
