Warri Mirror Nigeria Limited, publishers of Warri Mirror, is a Nigerian media organisation based in Warri, Delta State, with a vision to help strengthen robust journalism at the grassroots level, deepen democracy at the community level, advance the socio-economic wellbeing and rights of the masses, promote and ‘glocalize’ their cultural practices, and advocate for best practices, good governance, transparency and human rights, in tandem with global best practices in a democratic setting.

This organisation believes that of all the institutions of modern democracy, grassroots/community journalism matter should take centre stage. The family and community make up a state/country. It is better therefore for advocacy to focus more at that level.

Founded in August 2000, Warri Mirror believes that the time has come for Nigeria to be seen in all ramifications from the keyhole of the community, for sustainable development. There is a manifest gap in grassroots reportage and we have come to fill that lacuna generally and in the process raise the bar of journalism in our country, Nigeria, through the experience, competence and capacity of our team.
