Warri Mirror - The Commissioner for Transport in Delta State, Mr. Vincent Uduaghan and the Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG), Hon Ovie Agas recently held a meeting at the Labour Hall, Asaba with various labour leaders and staff of Delta Line over the State Government partnership with God is Good Motors. The SSG advised the Delta Line workers not to entertain any fear over the partial partnership, adding that it is for the interest of the workers and the State. He also assured the job security of Delta Line workers in this new partnership. According to him, nobody will be sacked and all benefits, entitlements, allowances and salaries being owed will be paid accordingly. He explained that Delta Line is not sold but just in a partnership to boost the State’s internally generated revenue. Mr. Uduaghan also advised the staff and labour unions to keep in touch with the Ministry of Transport for any challenges or information concerning their jobs, stressing that he is ready to render help for proper understanding over the new partnership with God is Good Motors.
