The Executive Assistant to Africa’s leading billionaire, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Mr Taiye Ajiyen has buried his late 95 years old mother, Mrs Mercy Ademugbamiren Ajiyen (Alias Okparugo) in the oil city of Warri in a 4-day ceremony that attracted the who-is-who from different parts of the country and the world.
The ceremony which started on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, with a Service of Songs at the Evangelical Spiritual Church of Christ, Ogunobite Zion, Okere, Warri, was followed by the funeral service/entertainment in her hometown, Orugbo community in the Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State on Friday, October 7, 2022, an elaborate reception at the Rice Farm, Esisi Road, Okere, Warri on Saturday, October 8, 2022 and the outing service at the same church on Sunday, October 9, 2022.
The deceased who was an adept and hardworking trader was survived by many children among other relatives.
